Pinta AT17INOX: A Handcrafted Sausage Tying Machine

Optimizing the Art of Sausage Tying

Designed by ROJOmandarina

ROJOmandarina introduces the Pinta AT17INOX, a handcrafted sausage tying machine that revolutionizes the delicate process of tying artisan sausages. Unlike current automatic machines that cannot handle the delicacy of the casing, Pinta treats the gut with subtlety, allowing operators to optimize the process that is traditionally done by hand. With its compact size and affordable cost, this innovative machine is set to transform the industry.

The Pinta AT17INOX features a curved aesthetic made of stainless steel, following the path of the gut and inviting operators to use it. Its unique design allows for precise and efficient sausage tying, replicating the manual binding process but at a much faster pace. The mechanical components have been carefully designed to ensure the same high-quality results as traditional handcrafted sausages.

Measuring at 350mm x 345mm x 700mm, the Pinta AT17INOX is compact and space-efficient. It weighs approximately 28.7kg, making it easy to move and operate. The machine utilizes a pedal drive system, allowing operators to have their hands free during the tying process. Changing the thread is a breeze, with the upper hump of the machine easily opening for quick access.

The development of the Pinta AT17INOX was not without its challenges. The design team at ROJOmandarina had to ensure that the mechanical components produced the same binding results as manual tying, but at a faster rate. Additionally, great care was taken in the design to prevent any damage to the delicate gut during use.

Recognizing the need for a functional market solution, ROJOmandarina conducted extensive research into the machinery of production and the characteristics of artisanal sausage factories. Multiple working prototypes were created and tested to refine the design and ensure optimal performance.

The Pinta AT17INOX has already received recognition for its outstanding design. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Prosumer Products, Tools, and Machinery Design category in 2019. This prestigious award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. The Pinta AT17INOX's integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics make it a valuable addition to the sausage tying industry.

With its unique design, efficiency, and affordability, the Pinta AT17INOX is set to revolutionize the art of handcrafted sausage tying. ROJOmandarina's commitment to innovation and functionality has resulted in a machine that not only optimizes the tying process but also bridges the gap between human craftsmanship and technology.
